Project Plan

Project Planning & Delivery

My project work combines clear scope, stakeholder alignment, dependency management, testing, deployment readiness and disciplined delivery governance.

Historical Project Example — Archer Upgrade

Project period: 2012

This project plan covered an enterprise production-environment upgrade for a governance, risk and compliance platform. The plan coordinated technical remediation, environment migration, application validation, testing, deployment, training and business-readiness activities across multiple stakeholder groups and regions.

Project Workstreams

  • Project management & control: charter, stakeholder review, cost analysis, risk assessment, communications and roles/responsibilities.
  • User access: access protocols, account alignment and regional user requirements.
  • Technical upgrade: production-environment analysis, remediation planning, upgrade execution, unit testing and knowledge transfer.
  • Environment strategy: development, UAT and production migration path with database export/import, configuration and validation.
  • Testing: SIT, regression, UAT, performance testing, acceptance criteria, test-result reporting and post-upgrade production validation.
  • Deployment: implementation plan, deployment resources, backout testing, production blackout, go/no-go criteria and production validation.
  • Business readiness: change-impact analysis, business requirements, communications, training plans and materials.
  • Closure: post-implementation review and lessons learned.

Example Delivery Sequence

  1. Confirm charter, scope, roles and risks
  2. Prepare development / UAT / production environments
  3. Upgrade and remediate applications
  4. Execute SIT, regression, UAT and performance testing
  5. Approve deployment and production readiness
  6. Communicate change and deliver training
  7. Execute production upgrade and validation
  8. Complete post-implementation review

What This Demonstrates

The artifact demonstrates my ability to structure a complex technology initiative into coordinated workstreams, dependencies, milestones, approval gates and readiness activities — connecting technical execution with business requirements, testing and change management.
